Ruth B’s “Lost Boy” Posts 66% Sales Gain Following TODAY Show Performance

Ruth B performed her radio single “Lost Boy” on the February 19 edition of NBC’s TODAY Show.

In the aftermath of that performance, the song enjoyed a significant gain in weekly sales.

According to Nielsen Music, the single eyed as Ruth B’s breakthrough sold 24,610 paid US downloads during the February 19-25 tracking week. The count bests the previous week’s mark by 66% — and slots “Lost Boy” at #33 on Digital Songs.

Through February 25, “Lost Boy” had sold a total of 279,416 copies in the US.
