Taylor Swift’s “New Romantics” Going Top 40 at Hot AC, Pop Radio

The seventh single from Taylor Swift’s “1989” will this week claim a Top 40 chart position at the hot adult contemporary and pop radio formats.

“New Romantics,” that seventh single, received 286 hot adult contemporary spins during the first four days of the February 21-27 tracking week. The count positions “New Romantics” at #35 on Mediabase’s building Hot AC listing.

It concurrently received 681 spins at the pop format. It claims #37 on Mediabase’s building pop chart.

Given the rapid rate at which it is accumulating airplay, “New Romantics” should only improve its position as the week progresses. It will definitely not fall out of either format’s Top 40.
