Ratings: “The X-Files” Rises For Season Finale, “Lucifer” Slips

The X-Files [FOX]

While it did not roar back to the levels of the season’s first few episodes, Monday’s “The X-Files” did post week-to-week gains in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

A season finale episode free of Grammy Awards competition, Monday’s “The X-Files” drew what Nielsen fast national data reports as a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating and 7.589 million total viewers.

Last week’s broadcast, which faced said Grammys, drew a 2.1 with 7.069 million.

Despite the increased lead-in support and the fact that it, too, did not have to battle Music’s Biggest Night, 9PM FOX drama “Lucifer” slipped this week. Last week’s episode drew a 1.6 rating with 5.134 million total viewers; this week’s drew a 1.5 with 4.905 million.
