Ratings: “The Originals” Rises From Low, “Vampire Diaries” Flat

The Originals [The CW]

It did not put up strong numbers, but Friday’s edition of “The Originals” did outperform last week’s series low broadcast.

Per Nielsen fast national data, the latest “The Originals” episode drew a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating and 864,000 total viewers. The numbers, though weak by the show’s historical standard, top the 0.3 rating and 797,000 viewership mark posted by last week’s broadcast.

Lead-in “The Vampire Diaries” held at its series low 0.4 adults 18-49 rating.

Preliminary data suggests it did, however, enjoy a slight viewership gain. This week’s episode drew 1.058 million total viewers; last week’s reached 1.049 million.
