HBO’s “Vinyl” Already Renewed For Season Two

Vinyl [HBO]

In only drawing a 0.25 adults 18-49 rating and 764,000 live+same-day viewers, Sunday’s heavily hyped “Vinyl” premiere was justifiably criticized as underwhelming.

The numbers were not, however, discouraging to the entity that matters most: HBO.

Wasting no time professing its faith in the series, HBO officially announced a second season renewal Thursday afternoon.

HBO’s press release focuses on the show’s ample critical acclaim.
