Ratings: “Recovery Road” Slips In Demo, Gains Viewers; “Fosters” Dips in Viewers

Monday’s “Recovery Road” faced the 58th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony, but it was also the first episode that had not been preemptively released for streaming.

Subjected to those opposing forces, the episode ended up taking a slight hit in adults 18-49 but reaching a new high in total viewership.

Per Nielsen L+SD data, Monday’s “Recovery Road” drew a 0.17 adults 18-49 rating and 488,000 total viewers. The previous week’s episode drew a 0.18 and 446,000.

The 488,000 live+same-day viewership sum establishes this week’s “Recovery Road” — the series’ fourth installment — as the most-watched episode yet.

— Lead-in “The Fosters” was not dramatically affected by the Grammy Awards. It matched last week’s 0.29 adults 18-49 rating and took only a slight hit — from 837,000 to 814,000 — in total viewership.
