Beyonce’s “Formation” Earns Most Added At Rhythmic Radio; The Weeknd, Zendaya Follow

Beyonce’s new single “Formation” predictably claims the top spot on this week’s rhythmic radio add board.

It was not, however, the only song to earn an impressive quantity of support from rhythmic stations.

“Formation,” which debuted at #28 on this past week’s Mediabase airplay chart, received adds from 29 Mediabase-monitored stations.

Second-most added for the week, The Weeknd’s latest single “Acquainted” follows closely with 26 adds.

Zendaya’s “Something New (featuring Chris Brown)” also registered an impressive add count. The song, which topped last week’s add board on the strength of 20 adds, earned an additional 21 pickups this week. It ranks as third-most added.

Nelly’s “Die A Happy Man” takes fourth with 14 adds, while ZAYN’s “PILLOWTALK” grabs fifth place thanks to its 13 weekly pickups.

This week’s other notable rhythmic radio options: Selena Gomez’ “Hands To Myself” (#6, 11 adds), J. Cole’s “Love Yourz” (#7, 10 adds), TK N Cash’s “3 Times In A Row” (#8, 7 adds), Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” (#9, 6 adds), Kevin Gates’ “2 Phones” (#10, 5 adds, tie), DJ Luke Nastyy’s “Might Be” (#10, 5 adds, tie), Ty Dolla $ign’s “Saved (featuring E-40)” (#10, 5 adds, tie), and Yellow Claw & DJ Mustard’s “In My Room (featuring Ty Dolla $ign)” (#10, 5 adds, tie).
