Little Big Town Wins Best Country Group Performance; “Girl Crush” Wins Best Country Song

“Girl Crush” is thus far responsible for two Grammy Award victories.

Written by Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna and Liz Rose, the song won the Best Country Song trophy at Monday afternoon’s 58th Annual Grammy Awards pre-show.

Little Big Town, the quartet that performs the song, meanwhile won for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

“Girl Crush” bested “Chances Are,” “Diamond Rings & Old Barstools,” “Hold My Hand,” and “Traveller” in the song category.

Little Big Town topped Brothers Osborne, Joey+Rory, Charles Kelley/Dierks Bentley/Eric Paslay, and Blake Shelton & Ashley Monroe in performance.
