Ratings: “SNL” Slips For Melissa McCarthy, Kanye West Episode

Based on preliminary ratings data, this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” did not perform as well as last week’s Larry David-The 1975 edition.

Per Nielsen metered market data, Saturday’s “SNL” drew a 4.4 overnight household rating. Last week’s episode drew a 5.1.

Featuring host Melissa McCarthy and musical guest Kanye West, this week’s episode meanwhile drew a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating in the Top 25 markets (those with local people meters). The previous episode posted a 2.4 in that column.

The numbers also trail those of the previous Melissa McCarthy episode. With McCarthy as host and Imagine Dragons as musical guest, the February 1, 2014 episode drew a 5.4 overnight household rating and a 2.9 A18-49 rating in the local people meter markets.
