Ratings: FX’s “Baskets” Holds In Demo, Slips In Live+Same-Day Viewership

Baskets [FX]

Unlike the previous two episodes, Thursday’s “Baskets” avoided a week-to-week decline in adults 18-49.

It did not, however, avoid another drop in total live+same-day viewership.

Per Nielsen L+SD cable data, Thursday’s episode drew a 0.27 adults 18-49 rating and 567,000 total viewers. The previous episode posted the same 0.27 rating but reached 625,000 total viewers on a live+same-day basis.

“Baskets” does demonstrate growth from DVR viewership — a factor FX says matters greatly to its scheduling strategy — but it is obviously not a ratings blockbuster.

On the other hand, it continues to resonate with the fans who are watching (as well as critics). Last night’s episode was particularly well-received.
