Silento’s “Watch Me” Officially Certified 5X Platinum In The US

Silento [ABC]

Silento’s viral sensation “Watch Me” has officially reached the 5x platinum threshold.

Issued February 8, 2016, the RIAA’s 5x platinum certification confirms a digital US unit total of at least 5 million.

Effective February 1, one digital unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams. The previous conversation rate was 100 streams = 1 paid download = 1 unit; the extent to which retroactive scoring applies is unclear.

“Watch Me” peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
