Luke Bryan’s “Kill The Lights” Certified Platinum In The United States

“Kill The Lights,” Luke Bryan’s latest studio album, is officially platinum in the US.

The RIAA formally issued the platinum certification on February 8, 2016. The certification confirms a US unit total of at least 1 million.

Under the terms of the RIAA’s new albums program, 1 unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales, or 1500 audio/video track streams.

As of February 4, “Kill The Lights” boasted a pure album sales total of about 887,000.
