Ratings: “Younger” Slips in Demo, Gains Viewers on TV Land; “Teachers” Up in Both

Two weeks ago, “Younger” and “Teachers” aired exclusively on TV Land. Last week, they reverted to the TV Land/Nick At Nite simulcast format. This week, they again aired as TV Land exclusives.

Interestingly, this week’s “Younger” did not post a week-to-week adults 18-49 gain on its TV Land home.

Per Nielsen cable data, Wednesday’s “Younger” drew a 0.21 adults 18-49 rating and 624,000 viewers. Last year’s TV Land broadcast, which competed for attention with a Nick At Nite simulcast (0.19, 594,000) drew a 0.22 and 574,000 viewers.

This week’s episode did, however, outperform the January 20 TV Land-only episode. That installment drew a 0.20 rating and 574,000 total viewers.

— Airing in the lead-out slot, this week’s “Teachers” drew a 0.17 rating and 458,000 total viewers on TV Land. Last week’s broadcast drew a lesser 0.15 rating and 422,000 on TV Land but also scored a 0.16 with 522,000 for its concurrent Nick airing.

This week’s “Teachers” also bested the last TV Land-exclusive airing, which posted a 0.14 and 392,000 on January 20.
