Thomas Rhett Scheduled To Perform On “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”

Thomas Rhett [Big Machine]

Thomas Rhett, whose “Die A Happy Man” is enjoying its twelfth week as America’s #1 country song, is headed to NBC’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

NBC listings confirm Rhett as the musical guest for the February 9 “Tonight Show.” The performance will mark his first appearance on television’s leading late night series.

As far as song choice, Rhett has two obvious options.

He can perform the aforementioned smash “Die A Happy Man,” a career-defining signature that could still benefit from promotion as it embarks on a crossover run at hot adult contemporary radio.

Alternatively, he can play “T-Shirt,” his new single at country radio.

Ryan Reynolds and Katie Holmes are booked as interview guests for the February 9 “Fallon.” NBC’s full listings follow:

Wednesday, February 3: Guests include Martin Scorsese, Gillian Jacobs and musical guest The Chainsmokers. Show 410

Thursday, February 4: Guests include Jonah Hill, Megyn Kelly and musical guest Wiz Khalifa. Show 411

Friday, February 5: Guests include Rebel Wilson, Jack Huston and musical guest Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. Show 412

Monday, February 8: Guests include Ben Stiller, Morena Baccarin and Dan White. Show 413
