Thomas Rhett [ABC]

Thomas Rhett’s country smash — and emerging Hot AC radio single — “Die A Happy Man” has officially crossed the 1 million sales mark in the United States.

According to Nielsen Music, “Happy Man” sold 42,454 digital US copies during the January 22-28 tracking week. While that trails the previous week’s mark by 15%, it still allows the single to achieve the aforementioned milestone.

Through January 28, Rhett’s second “Tangled Up” single had sold 1,029,296 downloads in the United States.

The single had already been certified platinum based on its combined sales and streaming unit sum. It now exceeds 1 million from a pure sales standpoint.
