Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” Leading Pop Radio Race; Twenty One Pilots Going Top 5

Following the first two days of the January 24-30 tracking week, Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” is leading the race for #1 on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.

The third “Purpose” single received 4,972 pop spins during those first two days. Up 17.8% from the previous week’s mark, the tally positions “Love Yourself” at #1 on the building airplay chart.

Alessia Cara’s “Here,” which was last week’s official #1, is down to #2 on building with 4,740 spins (-4.0%).

While the week is still young, there is no reason to believe “Love Yourself” will lose its grip on the #1 position.

— As “Love Yourself” readies for an ascent to #1, twenty one pilots’ “Stressed Out” works toward a Top 5 position on the official chart.

Thanks to the 4,226 spins it received during the tracking week’s first two days (+16.1%), “Stressed Out” is #4 on the building airplay chart. It will have no trouble retaining its Top 5 position through the end of the week — and it has a solid chance of leapfrogging Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” for #3.
