Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood Confirmed for Grammys; Bieber, Pitbull Also Added

Early Sunday afternoon, the official Grammy Awards Twitter account revealed that Justin Bieber and Pitbull would be performing at the 2016 Grammy Awards.

A few hours later, a commercial ran reiterating those names — and adding Sam Hunt and Carrie Underwood to the mix.

While the commercial did not explicitly identify Hunt and Underwood as performers, context strongly suggests they will be taking the stage. They were named alongside acts like Kendrick Lamar, Little Big Town, The Weeknd, Adele, Bieber, and Pitbull, all of whom have been officially confirmed as performers.

Hunt and Underwood are both nominees this year.

The commercial ran during CBS’ coverage of the AFC Championship game.

The annual Grammy Awards ceremony is scheduled for Monday, February 15.
