Maren Morris’ “My Church” Earns iHeartRadio “On The Verge” Boost

Maren Morris [EP]

The program that helped songs like Sam Hunt’s “Leave The Night On,” A Thousand Horses’ “Smoke,” and Cam’s “Burning House” on their journeys to #1 will now boost Maren Morris’ “My Church.”

Morris’ song has been named the new iHeartRadio “On The Verge” selection at country radio.

In addition to branding support across iHeart’s digital networks, the “On The Verge” program provides guaranteed airplay on each of the iHeartMedia radio stations within a given genre. This guaranteed airplay provides the song with quick — and significant — exposure.

Identified as a country artist to watch by many a publication, Morris represents a natural fit for a program designed to spotlight artists “on the verge.” And insofar as the program will aid her in making a meaningful chart impact, it essentially creates a self-fulfilling prophecy.

“My Church” officially impacts the country radio format next week, but numerous iHeartMedia stations have already added the single.
