While they did not crash, MTV’s “The Shannara Chronicles” and “Teen Wolf” did fall from last week’s premiere levels.

For “Teen Wolf,” that decline produced a viewership low.

“Shannara” posted a 0.38 adults 18-49 rating and reached 919,000 viewers. The numbers trail the 0.48 rating and 1.031 million viewership mark posted by last Tuesday’s premiere.

Per Nielsen Live+Same-Day Cable data, lead-in “Teen Wolf” drew a 0.39 adults 18-49 rating and 930,000 total viewers; the latter figure represents a series low. Last week’s midseason “Teen Wolf” premiere posted a 0.46 with 1.112 million total viewers.

This week’s “Teen Wolf” notably faced the premiere of FreeForm’s “Shadowhunters.”
