Demi Lovato’s “Confident” Earns Platinum Certification in the United States

Demi Lovato [ABC]

On September 15, 2015, the lead single from Demi Lovato’s “Confident” earned a platinum certification in the United States.

On January 11, 2016, the follow-up single — and album title track — earned the same honor.

The RIAA now identifies Lovato’s “Confident” as a platinum digital single. Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, the certification confirms a US unit total of at least 1 million.

One unit is equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams.

“Confident” has thus far gone as high as #21 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
