Honda Commercial Sends Empire Of The Sun’s “Walking On A Dream” Soaring Up Sales Chart

Thanks to exposure in a national Honda Civic commercial, Empire Of The Sun’s “Walking On A Dream” is soaring on the US iTunes sales chart.

Entitled “The Dreamer,” the spot ran during Saturday’s NFL playoff action. That monstrous exposure thrust the song, which had already been generating momentum due to the commercial’s earlier airings, into the Top 50 on the all-genre sales chart.

As of press time, “Walking On A Dream” was #42 on the listing.

First released in 2008, “Walking On A Dream” is the title track from the band’s debut album.
