Kendrick Lamar made his first “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” appearance on April 25, 2014. The critically acclaimed hip-hop artist joined Alicia Keys for a performance of “It’s On Again.”

Thursday, he makes his second appearance — and it is not only of the musical variety.

Lamar appears as both as an interview and musical guest on the January 7 “Tonight Show.”

Taped Thursday afternoon, the episode also features an interview with actor Mark Ruffalo.
