Selena Gomez’ “Hands To Myself” Headed For Top 50 at Pop Radio

After reaching #54 last week, Selena Gomez’ “Hands To Myself” is on track to score a Top 50 pop radio position in conjunction with the current December 27-January 2 tracking week.

The third “Revival” single received 190 spins during the first two days of the tracking week. Up 82.7% from the previous week’s tally, the count positions “Hands” at #50 on Mediabase’s building pop airplay chart.

Even if the song slips from that position as the week continues — and there is nothing to immediately suggest it will — “Hands To Myself” will benefit from the “unfreezing” of the airplay charts. Beginning with this week’s charts, Mediabase will resume its removal of recurrent songs and purging of notable decliners.

The activity will free up some positions, thus providing “Hands To Myself” with an even more attractive ranking when the chart goes final this weekend.
