LoCash’s “I Love This Life” Reaches Top 5 at Country Radio; Luke Bryan & Karen Fairchild Go Top 10

LoCash [Webster]

Whether one looks at the Mediabase or Billboard country radio chart, he will now find LoCash’s “I Love This Life” in the Top 5.

He will find Luke Bryan’s “Home Alone Tonight (featuring Karen Fairchild)” in the Top 10.

Up three places, “I Love This Life” takes #4 on the weekly Mediabase country radio singles chart. The position comes courtesy the song’s 20,366 weekly chart points (-1,385).

The song also received 6,321 Mediabase-monitored spins (-585) and 44.365 million Mediabase-monitored audience impressions during the December 20-26 tracking week.

“I Love This Life” makes the same #7-#4 leap on the audience-oriented Billboard Country Airplay chart.

“Home Alone Tonight” meanwhile rises one place to #10 on the Mediabase listing. It received 15,388 weekly chart points (-1,103), 4,651 weekly spins (-374), and 35.576 million weekly audience impressions.

Up two places, the Bryan-Fairchild duet takes #9 on the corresponding Billboard chart.

Editor’s Note: Since many country stations played an abundance of Christmas songs during the most recent tracking week, nearly every active song suffered declines in airplay. The aforementioned losses should not be taken as confirmation that the songs have peaked at radio.
