“A Thousand Years” now outright ranks as Christina Perri’s most-certified single in the United States.

The song, which appeared on the soundtrack to “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1,” received a 5x platinum certification on December 16, 2015.

Prior to receiving the honor, “A Thousand Years” tied the 4x platinum “Jar of Hearts” as Perri’s most-certified US hit.

The 5x platinum certification confirms a US unit total of at least 5 million. One unit is equal to one paid download or 100 streams.
