Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man” Receiving Hot AC Radio Push; US Sales Now 557K

Republic’s radio team, which is already promoting The Band Perry’s “Live Forever” to hot adult contemporary radio, is officially handling another crossover campaign.

The team is now promoting Thomas Rhett’s country radio smash “Die A Happy Man” to the same Hot AC format. To assist with the effort (and potentially prepare for a push to pop/Top 40 radio), Republic has made a “pop mix” available to programmers.

Cut from Rhett’s “Tangled Up,” “Happy Man” has caught fire with country music fans. It is already a multi-week #1 on the all-encompassing Hot Country Songs chart, and it appears destined for a trip to #1 on the country airplay chart.

Having sold 44,532 US copies during the November 27-December 3 tracking week, “Die A Happy Man” now boasts a cumulative US sales total of 557,121.
