Ratings: FOX’s “Gotham” Fall Finale Ties Monday’s “Supergirl” Episode

For the first time this season, FOX’s “Gotham” tied its timeslot rival — and fellow comic adaptation — “Supergirl” in the adults 18-49 demographic.

Monday’s episode, which served as the fall finale, drew a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating and 4.508 million total viewers. Both numbers top the 1.4 and 3.997 million marks drawn by the previous episode.

The aforementioned “Supergirl,” which filled CBS’ 8PM hour, drew the same 1.6 rating. Thanks to its resonance with older viewers, it nonetheless posted a considerably larger 8.019 million viewership total.

While this week’s episode marked the first in which “Supergirl” did not outperform “Gotham” in the demo, it still bested the previous week’s broadcast (1.5, 7.187 million).

FOX’s Monday lineup also included the “Minority Report” finale (0.7, 2.206 million). CBS aired re-runs of “Scorpion” (1.1, 6.614 million) and “NCIS: Los Angeles” (1.1, 7.466 million).
