Final Ratings Update: FOX’s “Empire” enjoyed week-over-week gains in adults 18-49 and total viewership.

Nielsen’s final broadcast report confirms that Wednesday’s “Empire” drew a 4.4 adults 18-49 rating and 11.336 million total audience members. Last week’s episode drew a 4.2 with 11.200 million.

“Empire” was television’s #1 Wednesday program in both columns.

Wednesday’s edition of “Empire” enjoyed a week-over-week gain in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic.

Per fast national data, the latest installment of the FOX juggernaut drew a 4.4 adults 18-49 rating and reached 11.156 million total viewers.

The demo number tops the last week’s 4.2. The fast national viewership tally trails the 11.200 mark posted by last week’s broadcast, but insofar as “Empire” often receives an upward adjustment in the final Nielsen report, it may end up steady or ahead when all is said and done.

Regardless, “Empire” still easily ranked as Wednesday’s top-rated and most-watched program.
