Ratings: NBC’s “Chicago Med” Starts Well

Sandwiched between “The Voice” and fellow “Chicago” series “Chicago Fire,” NBC’s new “Chicago Med” premiered to solid numbers.

Per fast national data, Tuesday’s premiere drew a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating and reached 8.593 million viewers. It was its timeslot’s #1 program in adults 18-49 and #2 program (behind “NCIS: New Orleans”) in total viewership.

“Med” retained a solid portion of its “The Voice” lead-in. Tuesday’s results show drew a 2.6 adults 18-49 and reached 11.110 million total viewers in the 8PM hour.

It led into “Chicago Fire,” which posted a 1.9 and reached 7.948 million viewers.
