Adele’s “Hello” Stays #1 On Billboard Hot 100, Sells 635K In Week Two

With a new Ariana Grande single, a Justin Bieber instant gratification track, and several CMA Awards-boosted songs all making noteworthy splashes during the official tracking week, there will be plenty of excitement surrounding this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

That excitement obviously does not extend to the top position.

In an outcome as unsurprising as last week’s outcome, Adele’s “Hello” earns a second week atop the all-encompassing Hot 100.

The victory comes thanks to another week of strong sales (635,000 US sales in week two), radio (106 million US impressions in its second full week), and streaming activity (47.4 million US streams in week two).

“Hello” last week became Adele’s fourth Hot 100 chart-topper.

— The balance of the Top 10:

2) Drake – Hotline Bling
3) The Weeknd – The Hills
4) Justin Bieber – Sorry
5) Justin Bieber – What Do You Mean?
6) Shawn Mendes – Stitches
7) Ariana Grande – Focus
8) Taylor Swift – Wildest Dreams
9) Fetty Wap – 679
10) Meghan Trainor – Like I’m Gonna Lose You ft. John Legend
