The Band Perry To Perform Via Hologram On Wednesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live”

Wednesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” which will air after the annual Country Music Association Awards, will rely on hologram technology to create a two-city episode.

Host Jimmy Kimmel will be physically located in his Hollywood, California studio, but hologram technology will beam his monologue into the Country Music Hall of Fame Theater in Nashville, Tennessee.

The same technology will then beam musical guest The Band Perry, which will be physically performing in Nashville, onto Kimmel’s outdoor stage in California.

The episode will also feature an in-studio (California) interview with Seth Rogen, an appearance by Jake Owen, and “Mean Tweets: Country Music Edition.”
