Victoria’s Secret confirmed Tuesday morning that Ellie Goulding will be replacing Rihanna as a performer at its upcoming Fashion Show.
The news was first announced through PEOPLE, which claims Rihanna canceled her appearance “to finish work on her album [Anti].”
The high-profile Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, interestingly, would have represented valuable promotion for Rihanna’s “Anti.”
Goulding, who has an album of her own to promote in “Delirium,” joins previously confirmed performers The Weeknd and Selena Gomez.
CBS’ broadcast of the taped event will air at 10PM on 12/8.
