BANKS’ “Beggin For Thread” Earns Gold Certification in the US

“Beggin For Thread,” which introduced singer-songwriter BANKS to alternative and hot adult contemporary radio audiences, has officially gone gold in the United States.

The formal RIAA certification came on October 16, 2015.

Under the terms of the RIAA’s digital singles program, the gold certification confirms a US unit total of at least 500,000. One unit is equal to 1 paid download or 100 streams.

“Beggin For Thread,” which peaked inside the Top 15 at alternative radio and Top 30 at hot adult contemporary radio, appears on BANKS’ 2014 release “Goddess.”
