Luke Bryan’s “Strip It Down” Reaches #1 at Country Radio; Old Dominion Top 5

Luke Bryan’s 2013 release “Crash My Party” sent all six of its singles to #1 on the Mediabase country radio singles chart.

It remains to be seen if his 2015 album “Kill The Lights” will achieve the same feat, but the release is definitely off to a good start.

This past summer, lead single “Kick The Dust Up” soared to #1 on the chart. This week, follow-up “Strip It Down” reaches the apex of the listing.

“Strip It Down” seizes the throne from Brett Eldredge’s “Lose My Mind,” which slips to #5 on this week’s chart.

Not simply the leader in chart points, “Strip It Down” also ranked as the Mediabase panel’s most-played and most-heard song during the October 11-17 tracking week.

It received ~8,285 weekly spins (+271) and ~55.057 million weekly audience impressions (+2.109 million).

Positioned between “Strip It Down” and “Lose My Mind” in the Top 5 are Chase Rice’s #2 “Gonna Wanna Tonight,” Florida Georgia Line’s #3 “Anything Goes,” and Old Dominion’s #4 “Break Up With Him.”

Up three places, the lattermost song is making its inaugural Top 5 appearance.
