Ratings: MTV’s “Awkward” Viewership Falls to Low, “Faking It” Slightly Rises

The ratings struggle did not ease for MTV’s “Awkward,” which this week slipped to a series low in total viewership. Its adults 18-49 rating ties a series low.

Per Nielsen cable data, Monday’s “Awkward” drew a 0.28 adults 18-49 rating with 498,000 total viewers.

While the show slipped to the same 0.28 adults 18-49 rating earlier this season, its viewership had never before gone below 532,000.

Last week’s “Awkward” drew a 0.32 with 577,000 viewers.

Lead-out “Faking It,” which last week posted a series low in viewership and narrowly avoided one in adults 18-49, enjoyed slight gains in both columns this week.

Up from last week’s 0.19 adults 18-49 rating with 374,000 viewers, this week’s episode posted a 0.20 with 390,000.
