X Ambassadors (NBC)

When the October 2-8 tracking week reached its conclusion, two hit songs were within striking distance of the 900,000 US sales mark.

Powered by a weekly sales total of 40,470, X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” reached a cume of 897,149 at the conclusion of the aforementioned tracking week.

Given its current sales pace, it has already crossed the 900,000 mark on a real-time basis. Its total for the complete October 9-15 tracking week will officially push it past that mark.

According to Nielsen Music, Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” sold 80,163 copies during the October 2-8 tracking period. That brought its cumulative sales total to 893,281.

It, too, has crossed the 900,000 mark on a real-time basis and will officially boast a total in excess of 900,000 when the current tracking week reaches its conclusion.
