Confirmed as the third official single from Fall Out Boy’s “American Beauty/American Psycho,” Fall Out Boy’s “Irresistible” will formally impact the pop radio format on October 20.

It will not, however, impact in its original form.

As announced Monday morning, the pop version of “Irresistible” will be a remix featuring Demi Lovato. The revamped “Irresistible” will officially arrive on Friday, October 16 — the same day as Lovato’s new album “Confident” and four days before the song’s official pop radio impact.

Active at alternative radio, the original “Irresistible” is currently the Mediabase alt panel’s #53 song. Per Nielsen Music, it sold 985 US copies during the October 2-8 tracking week (for a cume of 143,650).
