DNCE, Nico & Vinz, OMI, Chainsmokers Reach Pop Radio’s Top 40

Demi Lovato’s “Confident,” which soars fourteen places to #30 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart, is not the only song to make an inaugural appearance inside the Top 40.

DNCE’s “Cake By The Ocean,” Nico & Vinz’ “That’s How You Know (featuring Bebe Rexha and Kid Ink),” OMI’s “Hula Hoop” and The Chainsmokers’ “Roses (featuring Rozes)” also enter that portion of the chart this week.

Spun 1,198 times during the October 4-10 tracking week (+367), “Cake” rises six places to #37 on this week’s pop airplay chart.

“That’s How You Know” directly follows at #38. The latest Nico & Vinz offering, which was #41 on last week’s chart, received 1,027 plays this week (+135).

“Hula Hoop,” the follow-up to OMI’s chart-topping “Cheerleader,” grabs the #39 spot on this week’s listing. Up three places, it received 976 tracking week spins (+128).

The Chainsmokers’ “Roses (featuring Rozes)” claims the last available Top 40 spot. Spun 932 times (+248), it rises seven places to #40.
