DNCE, Demi Lovato, Pentatonix Reach Pop Radio’s Top 50

DNCE’s “Cake By The Ocean” this week rises into the Top 50 at pop radio. It is once of three songs to make such a leap.

Spun 831 times during the September 27-October 3 tracking week (+578), the debut DNCE single ranks as the Mediabase pop panel’s #43 song. It held the #64 position last week.

Demi Lovato’s new single “Confident” also reaches the Top 50. The follow-up to Lovato’s #3-peaking “Cool For The Summer” rises eleven places to #44 on the strength of its 766 weekly plays (+405).

Pentatonix’s first official pop single “Can’t Sleep Love” also reaches this week’s Top 50. Up three places, it earns #50 on the strength of its 551 tracking week spins (+118).

While not new to the Top 50, Shaggy’s “Only Love (featuring Pitbull & Gene Noble)” re-enters that group this week. Spun 663 times during the tracking week (+169), it rises three places to #48.
