Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph” Scores Fifth Week at #1 On Hot AC Airplay Chart

Ed Sheeran (Tonight Show | NBC)

Make that five for Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph.”

Five weeks atop Mediabase’s hot adult contemporary airplay chart, that is.

Despite suffering a week-over-week spin loss, “Photograph” once again ranks as the Hot AC format’s most-played song.

This week’s victory comes courtesy the song’s ~6,664 tracking week spins (-132). That tally keeps it ahead of The Weeknd’s #2 “Can’t Feel My Face,” which received ~6,326 plays during the September 20-26 tracking week (+66).

Spun ~5,965 times during the tracking week, X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” surges two places to a new peak of #3. Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” (#4, -1 | ~5,932, -6) and Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” (#5, -1, 5,425, -414) complete the Top 5.
