Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away With Me” Returns To Pop Radio’s Top 50

Four weeks ago, Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away With Me” suffered a week-over-week airplay loss and fell out of pop radio’s Top 50.

This week, it returns — and earns its highest ranking yet.

Spun 621 times during the September 20-26 tracking week (+483), “Run Away With Me” ranks as the Mediabase pop panel’s 46th-most-played song. It was #71 last week and had never previously gone higher than #50.

Whether this week’s resurgence (owed to newfound support from Cumulus’ network of pop stations) is the beginning of a meaningful run up the airplay chart remains to be seen, but it is clear “Run Away With Me” is not as “done” as it seemed late last month.
