Ratings: MTV’s “Awkward” Falls To Series Low; “Faking It” Loses Viewers

The ratings woes continue for MTV’s “Awkward” and “Faking It.”

Monday’s episodes, which aired against Monday Night Football and numerous season/series premieres on the broadcast networks, were the series’ least-watched episodes yet.

Monday’s “Awkward” also sank to a series low in adults 18-49

Airing at 9PM ET, the veteran MTV comedy posted a 0.28 adults 18-49 rating with 532,000 viewers. Both numbers trail those of last week’s broadcast (0.37, 761,000) and those of the Labor Day episode (0.30, 682,000), which at the time ranked as the worst-performing episode on record.

“Faking It” followed with a 0.21 adults 18-49 rating and 401,000 viewers. While the adults 18-49 rating slightly tops last week’s series low 0.18, the viewership mark represents a new low point for “Faking It.” Last week’s episode, which then held the series low distinction, reached 439,000 viewers.
