======================

Since premiering on September 8, CBS’ “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” has featured an intriguing array of interview and musical guests.

On Wednesday, veteran rock band Pearl Jam appears in both capacities. The band chats with host Stephen Colbert and then takes the stage for a musical performance.

Wednesday’s “Late Show” appearance comes in advance of the “Global Citizen Festival.” The event, which features Stephen Colbert as a co-host and Pearl Jam as one of the headline performers, takes place Saturday in Central Park.

Elizabeth Warren, Hugh Jackman, and Hugh Evans also appear on Wednesday’s “Colbert.” Like Colbert, Jackman will co-host the aforementioned “Global Citizen Festival.” Evans is the founder of the associated Global Poverty Project.
