Ratings: AMC’s “Fear The Walking Dead” Falls This Week

Sunday’s “Fear The Walking Dead” easily ranked as the night’s top-rated and most-watched original cable programming.

The episode did, however, suffer a week-over-week performance decline.

The broadcast, which was the fourth “FTWD” to date, drew a 3.31 adults 18-49 rating with 6.62 million viewers. Both numbers trail those of the previous broadcast, which drew a 3.62 rating with 7.19 million viewers.

It is worth noting that “FTWD” again faced fierce competition. In addition to another bout with Sunday Night Football, the latest episode also faced the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards. Low-rated by Emmy standards, the broadcast nonetheless combined with the football game to create the fiercest “Fear The Walking Dead” opposition yet.
