Halsey, Ellie Goulding, Nicky Jam, X Ambassadors Added By NYC’s Z100

Powerhouse New York City pop station Z100 officially added four stations to its rotation this week.

Per Mediabase’s weekly add board, New York’s #1 Hit Music Station threw its support behind Halsey’s “New Americana,” Ellie Goulding’s “On My Mind,” Nicky Jam & Enrique Iglesias’ “El Perdon,” and X Ambassadors’ “Renegades.”

None of the adds should come as a surprise.

Z100 has been Tweeting support for “New Americana,” so the official playlist add was only a matter of time. Born in New Jersey and based in New York, Halsey also represents a local act.

In addition to being an immensely high-profile release, Ellie Goulding’s “On My Mind” was launched as an “iHeartRadio World Premiere” — as an iHeartMedia station, Z100 was involved in that launch.

“El Perdon” and “Renegades” have both been developing considerable momentum in recent weeks.
