Drake’s “Hotline Bling” Enters Top 10 at Rhythmic Radio; Lil Wayne & Charlie Puth Top 15

Powered by the format’s second-greatest weekly airplay gain, Drake’s “Hotline Bling” surges into the Top 10 of this week’s Mediabase rhythmic chart.

The song, which received ~3,351 spins during the September 13-19 tracking week, rises two places to #10 on this week’s chart. It is the week’s lone addition to the Top 10.

This week’s spin count bests that of last week by a whopping 900 plays. Only Fetty Wap’s #5 “679 (featuring Remy Boyz)” (+941) enjoyed a more significant weekly lift at rhythmic radio.

— While “Hotline Bling” is the only addition to the Top 10, one song does newly reach this week’s Top 15. Lil Wayne & Charlie Puth’s “Nothing But Trouble,” that song, rises two places to a new peak of #14.

“Nothing But Trouble” received ~2,582 plays during the September 13-19 tracking week (+419).
