Shawn Mendes Performing on NBC’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”

When NBC first issued listings for next week’s string of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” episodes, it noted that a re-run would air on Monday, September 21.

It has since changed its tune. An original “Fallon” will, in fact, air on September 21.

NBC first confirmed that reality by noting that Ryan Reynolds, who was originally listed for the 9/25 episode, will now appear on 9/21. It then issued a press release announcing presidential candidate Carly Fiorina for the episode.

After revealing the night’s interview guests, NBC then confirmed “Stitches” singer Shawn Mendes as the night’s musical guest. The performance will mark the Canadian artist’s “Tonight Show” debut.

NBC’s latest “Tonight Show” listings follow:

Monday, September 21: Guests include Ryan Reynolds, Carly Fiorina and musical guest Shawn Mendes. Show 333

Tuesday, September 22: Guests include Anne Hathaway, Anthony Anderson and musical guest A Great Big World. Show 334

Wednesday, September 23: Guests include James Spader, Andrew Rannells and Brian Regan. Show 335
