Selena Gomez & A$AP Rocky’s “Good For You” Headed for #1 at Pop Radio

Thanks to “Good For You (featuring A$AP Rocky),” Selena Gomez is on the verge of scoring her second career #1 hit at pop radio.

According to Mediabase, the lead “Revival” single received 4,977 pop plays during the first two days of the September 6-September 12 tracking period. Up 5.4% from last week’s mark, the count thrusts “Good For You” past Major Lazer’s “Lean On” (4,971 spins) — and into the #1 spot on Mediabase’s building airplay chart.

Given that “Good For You” is rising and “Lean On” is falling, Gomez’ song should extend its lead as the tracking week continues. And insofar as no other song represents an imminent threat, “Good For You” is a safe bet to top this coming weekend’s official Mediabase pop chart.

Gomez previously topped that chart with her 2013 smash “Come & Get It.”
