Jamie Lawson, Tori Kelly Reach Hot AC Radio’s Top 30; U2 Re-Enters

Powered by the iHeartRadio “On the Verge” program, Jamie Lawson’s “Wasn’t Expecting That” is one of two additions to the Top 30 on Mediabase’s hot adult contemporary airplay chart.

Spun ~834 times during the August 30-September 5 tracking week, Lawson’s tune jumps seven places to a new high of #26.

This week’s spin total tops last week’s mark by 317 plays; only four Hot AC songs enjoyed greater weekly gains.

Tori Kelly’s “Should’ve Been Us” also reaches the Top 30 on this week’s Hot AC chart. The song, which received ~759 tracking week plays (+37), rises three places to #29 on this week’s chart.

— While not new to the Top 30, U2’s “Song For Someone” re-enters this week. It rises three places to #28 on the strength of its ~799 weekly plays (+74).
