J. Cole’s “2014 Forest Hills Drive” Crosses the 1 Million US Sales Mark

J. Cole’s “2014 Forest Hills Drive” first emerged on December 9, 2014.

When the August 28-September 3 tracking week concluded, it boasted a US sales total in excess of 1 million.

The hit album entered the week with a sales total of approximately 997,000. Per Hits Daily Double, it ended up moving approximately 5,575 copies between August 28 and September 3.

Billboard’s more authoritative data will differ slightly, but the disparity will not be enough to erase the album’s achievement. It clearly sold more than 3,000 copies and thus clearly crossed the 1 million mark.

Unlike many commercial hip-hop albums, “2014 Forest Hills Drive” does not include contributions from featured artists.
